This was the view from our back yard the other evening. Colin and Liam were playing outside, and stopped to admire this amazing view. Colin took the photo above on his cell phone and then explained to me that the rays of sunlight made him think about God and a memory verse from earlier in the year.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. (Psalm 19:1)

Glasses!

Took Aiden to the opthamologist last week after noticing that one of his eyes was crossing when he’d look at things close up. Turns out our little man is quite farsighted - just like his Nana - so we got some very cool looking glasses for him. Liam and I took him out to pick them up and make it a special fun time for him. I was a bit concerned that it would be hard to keep them on his little head since he’s such an active boy, but it turns out that he loves wearing them and is doing great so far. Below are a few photos from our outing. You can see he’s in awe at being able to see things clearly close-up.
